I just wanted to drop a quick note saying thank you for yesterday’s training. The group was the most genuine and engaged I’ve experienced – very neat to be a part of it. In our small group discussions, it was so rich in dialogue – I will use it in my daily life many times over.

Just wanted to extend thanks for your presentation on Communication. I found that session to be among the top three sessions of the week, including the keynote speakers.
Attendee, People-Centric Skills: Communications Presentation
ISACA CACS Conference, May 2016 (New Orleans, LA)
I really enjoyed your presentations on both Behavior/Anger Management and Rood Cause analysis at the IIA Mid-Atlantic District Conference. Not only were the presentations informative and useful, but the material was presented in a matter where everyone was engaged creating a two-way conversation between you (the speaker) and the audience making the experience more memorable where the skills learned can be applied in real-life experiences. In addition, because of your presentations, I am definitely looking forward to reading your book “People-Centric Skills” and learning more about communication skills for internal auditors.

Mid-Atl IIA District Conf - October 13, 2015
I personally learn a lot in my 2 day session, not only from a technical continuous auditing perspective but from the softer side as well. Group dynamics and encouraging group participation, interview techniques and most importantly always ending meetings and engagement before time 🙂
Princess Bissessar, Audit Manager
Trinidad & Tobago IIA - October 2015
My group really enjoyed your presentation at the May Fort Worth IIA meeting. Â My team is comprised of staff at various points in their career, with diverse skill sets, and the material you presented served as a great litmus test of sorts in relation to our overall communication strategy.
-IA Audit Manager, Major Railway Company
May 2015 Fort Worth IIA Monthly Meeting
I want to start by commending you for the presentation yesterday. This was the fourth audit writing presentation that I’ve attended in the past few years and it was by far the one that I got the most out of. You challenged us to think outside the box and I hope our management team takes that challenge to heart. Using some of the points raised in the class yesterday I think we can improve how we approach, format, and review our audit reports … thereby making the reporting phase a lot less painful.
– Staff Auditor, Major Public Company
Audit Report Writing (San Diego IIA) - 10/7/15
Danny is a great speaker and the review of the audit process is critical because many times, we might think we are being valuable to our institution, but we have some areas that we may lack. The discussions with the audience were helpful because I got to hear similarities and differences among audit shops because everyone has certain ways that they conduct their processes. As still being fairly new to internal audit, this session really opened my eyes more to the audit process and the ways that we should carry ourselves among our colleagues in the institution.
ACUA Annual Conference (Miami) - 9/2016
I just wanted to let you know that I attended your recent ACUA webinar and it was fantastic! I was hoping that you would provide your report writing tips to me for future reference. I think the information you provided was very useful and I look forward to using your suggestions!
Thanks and I look forward to seeing you at the ACUA annual conference!
– Auditor II (Major University)
It was a great seminar, thank you very much for being so enthusiastic and energetic. We are looking forward having you back in the near future.
Audit Report Writing (IIA Chapter) - 10/7/15
I have been working with the Internal Audit group since October. I just wanted to reach out quickly and thank you for coming to speak to us. I really appreciated how your presentation was very interactive and informative – and how you really made an effort to learn people’s names, too! I definitely learned a lot from you, like how to build trust with your client, to feel comfortable when interviewing your client, and to ensure that audit objectives are clear and focused. Hopefully we may cross paths again sometime! Thanks again!
